Account book, 1854-1876.

A manuscript account book containing annual and quarterly summaries of personal income and expenses while in college and thereafter in pastorates at Binghampton, NY, Waterford, NY, and Detroit, MI. As a college student, his major expenses were for tuition, books, room, and board. In the ministry, his chief sources of income were from salary, gifts, and lectures; expenditures were for food, clothing, and sundry housewares.
